Privacy Notice
Who we are
YJ Strategy is an AI strategy consultancy based in Newcastle upon Tyne, founded by Yuvraj Chauhan. This notice explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. For any privacy question, email [email protected].
What we collect, and why
- Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), subject and message, so we can reply to your enquiry.
- Resource downloads: your name, work email and firm name, so we can send the resource and follow up about it.
- Labs interest form: your name, email, company, the systems you select and your message, so we can respond to your interest.
- Booking a call: your name, email, company, any notes you add, the time you choose and your time zone, so we can schedule the call and send a confirmation email. Before the call we may look up publicly available information about you and your firm, with the help of AI tools, to prepare for it.
- Website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser) so we can see which content is useful.
Cookies
Our own code does not set cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) to tell visits apart, and it loads only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page; withdrawing deletes the analytics cookies.
Who processes it for us
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) passes form submissions to our email inbox.
- Microsoft 365 hosts our email, including booking confirmations.
- Google provides analytics and the fonts this site loads, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if we work together, to run the engagement.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
